Chad Davis a native of Missouri. Born in Kansas City, spent his younger years in Washington. He comes from a family of six with a rich background in art. Returning home to Missouri at the age of 14, his passion for photography was discovered upon using a brother's camera. Encouraged by his father to pursue a career in photography. He studied photography for two years at the local High School of Ruskin High. Upon graduating from High School, he continued his studies with commercial photographer from Belton, Missouri shooting in the fields of commercial and weddings. Taking on more responsibility, needing funds to further his career, he began working for commercial photo labs learning the service aspect of photo industry.

  During this time his passion for nature grew spending vacations traveling to different areas of the United States. Traveling to Florida, Wyoming, Montana and Washington visiting national parks like Yellowstone National Park, and the Bad lands.

  Seeing a rich diverse scenery of the United States he continued to shoot photographs as much as he could, building his portfolio of landscapes and wildlife images. Studying all aspects of photography.

  In 1990 the field of photography had been changing. Continuing his studies, Chad Davis had been going to seminar's in photography, where he was introduced to new technologies. Digital manipulating software for photographs melding the art of photography with the computer industry. Having a pretty good idea of where the industry was heading, he put his career on hold to learn the programs associatied with photographs, printing and layouts. A self taught individual learning Adobe Photoshop, he went back to work for commercial photo labs restoring old photographs with Adobe Photoshop.

   Venturing out he started his first business. CD Photocare restoring old and new photographs. Running a successful business he expanded, going back to his roots, too entail his true passion, photography. Offering photographic services such as wedding, commericial, event, family and school senior photography.

  Chad has had his work published in magazines, and newspapers. His list of clients have included Flick Seed Co. LamCraft Inc., ISTRC, Dean Machinery Co, Kansas City Zoo, and Martin Leigh Laws & Fritzlen. One of the more famous people he has photographed, is now celebrity model Danni Boatwright.

  With his exuberant personality. His style brings out the happiness and sensitivity of his subjects. Providing lasting memories.

  As a relief, Chad D. Davis is deeply inspired by the environment around him and strives to photograph the wildlife, and scenery surrounding him. He is currently working on his first book that includes many photographs taken over the years in his travels. It is Chad's personal works that his true character emerges. Chad's wish, is that ultimately his life works will emerge as a record of the beauty that exist around us all and how we need to preserve precious resources for all creatures that inhabit this earth.
