For those of you who have subscribed to my blog.  First let me say, welcome.  Glad to have you here.  I often invite and continue to encourage individuals who wish to respond to what I have written or would like to write something of there own to do so.  Questions, opinions, places to see or to photograph. It’s all welcomed as long as it’s not mean spirited or pertains to porn, spam etc.   If we can get something going that would benefit whoever would visit the site.  Who knows, expanding the blog into a forum could be the next step. Any takers?

So, if you want to write something, feel free.  If you want to respond to something I have written please feel free to do so.  If your not sure how. Just click on the “Title” of the writing to respond.  There will be a place to write something at the end of the page to write to your hearts content.   Please understand that your post will not automatically be posted.  I have to deal with spam on occasion, so I like to see the post before being approved to keep the spammers from posting stuff that obviously doesn’t have anything to do with what I or you would like to say.

Everyone hates spam.  It’s bad enough that we have to deal with it in the snail mail along with email, plus the obnoxious pop up adds on websites.  Yes, I know.  They have browser that have popup blockers.  The crazy addvertising people always find a way to circumvent the technology though. It’s only a matter of time.  So, welcome and I look forward to reading what you have to say.

Take care.

With Thanksgiving out of the way. Everyone is in the Christmas mode it seems.   I personally am not sure that I am ready for Christmas.  Of course it’s a wonderful holiday and I enjoy it every year. However it is rough on some. I think this holiday season will be rougher this year then in the past for many. I can’t imagine what the days would be like if you didn’t have family around to toss a few cookies at, perhaps a hug or two. That being said, I hope everyone who has the means will visit with family and have a wonderful Christmas.

On with a little news… continue reading…
